Hermitage

The Hermitage is a rustic, two-storey log house situated on a hilltop overlooking Shekinah property and the North Saskatchewan River valley. For those seeking a pioneer experience, the Hermitage has no amenities. Dishes and utensils are provided and cooking is done on an old-fashioned wood burning stove. Wash water must be carried outside. Rechargeable lanterns provide light in the evenings and an airtight wood burning stove is used for heating. Hermitage guests use a nearby outdoor toilet.
