About Us
Eb's Source For Adventure has been a destination for the outdoor enthusiast since 1973. Eb started the business because of his passion for sailing and cross country skiing. The store has gone through a few name changes to reflect our direction, originally called Eb’s Boat and Ski Shop to Eb’s Sailcraft & Cross Country Skis to Eb’s Sail & Sports. In the fall of 2006 the name changed to Eb’s source for Adventure. Today James and Kevin have expanded the product selection to also include canoeing, camping, kayaking, snowshoeing and any gear needed to go along with these activities.
We know and we care.
As store owners, our commitment is, and has always been, to offer quality merchandise, good selection, reasonable pricing and most importantly, excellent advice.
We take pride in the many customers who return time and again, not just to make purchases but also to tell us a story or two about their outdoor adventures, whether on water, land or snow.
Eb’s has joined with several independent outdoor shops from across Canada to form a buying group called Source For Adventure. The increased buying power of the Source For Adventure group helps us meet our goals of providing you with quality merchandise and competitive pricing.
Our collective expertise and experience makes us Canada's leading outdoor retailers and this is only augmented with the fact that Source For Adventure members can now draw on each other's strengths. However, the independent nature of our stores is not compromised.
We are also developing a line of Source For Adventure products (i.e. packs, sleeping bags, tents) designed by our own members. Innovative features, quality materials, and good value – from the people who know - definitely make these products worth a long look. They’re only available at Source For Adventure stores.

The managment and staff at Ebs Source For Adventure are enthusiastic and active participants for the sports we sell to. From sailing to canoeing to kayaking to cross country skiing and snowshoeing, we have the people who have been there and can answer your questions. We have the experience to outfit you with the appropriate equipment and accessories, and point you to the right locations in Saskatchewan (and beyond) for your adventures. Interested in what's new at the store ? Here's a taste:
Come in and check out the Icebreaker line of Merino clothing and accessories. Icebreaker Merino is warm, soft, breathable, and machine washable. We’ve got active base and insulation layers - tops and bottoms, socks, toques, you name it. As you can see - Spike is modelling a few items, but there's much more to see.
The 2009 cross country skis are here. We predict an early snowfall. Make sure you are ready by getting a new ski package at Ebs. With our broad selection from Salomon and Alpina, we have the equipment to suit your technique and experience level.
And on the off chance that you don't like skiing, but you still love the outdoors in winter - have you tried snow-shoeing ? We'll can outfit you for snowshoes as well.
