Simulations are a helpful way of identifying
with and learning about bird and animal habits and adaptations.
Shekinah also has a stuffed animal display that allows students to see
otherwise elusive animals up close. Examples of a Shekinah nature
awareness experience might include 'The Well Dressed Beaver', 'A Tossed
Salad for a Ruffed Grouse', 'The Squirrel Pantry' or the Survival Game.
Nature hikes and Sensory Awareness Trails are also excellent ways of
developing an appreciation for the natural world around us.
