So what is a typical day at camp like?
Lots of fun!
Your day starts as soon as you wake up. Even before breakfast, Polar Bear activities are available
for you.
This includes running, swimming or biking. Next comes
breakfast. Mmm good food. After breakfast it is time for you and your
friendly campermates to clean up your shanty tent because the tent
inspector is kind to people with clean tents.
Bible time is a time for
singing, skits and learning about God. Singing is great fun. Hmm, what
to do after Bible? I guess an activity period would be appropriate.
In
your activity period, you and your campermates can choose any number of
fun activities to do until lunch. Mmm lunch. Did I mention that there was good food here?
The
next part of your day is one of your counsellor's favorites and it
should also be one of your favorites. Fobit (flat-on-back-in-tent) is a
nice time to relax and build up energy for the rest of the day because
there are a lot more things you can do. Two more activity periods come
after fobit.
Again you and your campermates can choose what you want to do. Games,
games and more games is the subject of the remainder of your day. You
can play games until supper and you can play games after supper. Supper
. . . that involves food. Did I mention that the food here is excellent!
The games after supper are super fun and a great end to a full day.
Night lunch follows the evening games and again, need I mention it, the
food is good. Campfire closes your most excellent day with more
singing, storytelling and fun. Then, finally it is time for bed.
Nighty-night.
Did I happen to mention our additional activities including canoe
trips, bike trips, backpacking trips, wacky suppers and over-nighters?
If not, we have these special activities scattered throughout your week.
All of us here at camp hope to see you here this summer.
